Parent Participation
The school is governed by a committee of parents which is elected at the AGM. This governing body, together with the principal, meet regularly during the year. They are responsible for policy discussions; forward planning, monitoring financial expenditure and fundraising activities etc. Fundraising events take place once a quarter and involve the whole family. Parents help with sewing, knitting, baking etc. Parent’s evenings with a speaker addressing a relevant topic are held at intervals during the year. We are fortunate to have a moms, marketing and parents in prayer group.
At St. Lizzies we believe in the importance of a healthy home-school relationship and urge parents to become involved and enjoy this journey alongside their children.
